A Sick Monster

People calling her 'a sick monster'

A girl checking her apps calendar
The date is approaching
She agitated like always

It's her first day
The pain feels like hell

It's like a squashed orange inside
She feels cramps at her lower abdomen
It painful like no other tomorrow

Her tummy is bloating
Her backache worsen
She feels needle pricking at certain spots in her body

She bends and hugs both her knees
She can't sleep soundly
She can't sit comfortably
She can't walk sturdy enough
She can't stand straight either
Everything seems not right

She just there, rolling on her bed
Still hugging her knees
whirling and whimpering like a 3 years old little girl who protest over a candy

Something flowing on her face
either tears or sweat
It's unsure

She declined all hang out chill with her buddies
She ignored video call from her siblings

She is no longer compos mentis at that moment
Someone who intentionally nitpicking with her seems to make a huge mistake

Her heart rate speeding in undefined rhythm

It could explode anytime any soon

She could turned into a monster in a split second

Her emotions is so fragile as glass
She suddenly crying watching a clip of a kitten
She found herself irritated over spilling water at the kitchen

She talk less to avoid other's misunderstandings

People accused her for making excuse once in a month

Some guys cynically fueled her anger
They said she having no reason of getting mad

Without admitting their fault, they keep insulting
Questioning, "so a girl having right to mad since she's in her PMS?"

The word they uttered is heedless as they never had female family members

They probably had one
Either they never care or understand
yet still claimed themselves as a wise man

But that sick monster
is the one who still showing up to prepare meals and doing chores

She is the one who try to smile ironically to her physical pain

She is the one who laughs at her friends lame jokes when others don't

She is the one who still respond to your trivial text

She unexpectedly become a solver of your petty problems

Other people sleeping and eating well having no ideas what she's being thru the whole day because she "seems okay"

Someone said he accepts both the beauty & ugly side
He indeed amusing the bright side in her joy
But that same person also annoyed and left when she is weak & ugly

People calling her 'a sick monster'

She did nothing wrong but disappears until she's being "her" again.
